Application for steemit challenge season 32 || “voices of the forgotten”

Let the stories of lost people and lost skills come back again

Dear steemit team,

Hope everyone is well. Today I have come to apply for steemit challenge season 32 with a completely different and exceptional idea. On steemit, we usually see challenges on travel, photography, cooking, diary, art or various creative topics. These are certainly beautiful initiatives. However, I wanted to think of a challenge that will not only create content, but will present the stories of real-life people to the entire steemit.

The name of my challenge is

“voices of the forgotten”

The story of the lost voices

The main purpose of this challenge will be to find those people in our society whose talent, work, struggle or skills are gradually disappearing. There are many people who have been doing a job for years, but no one knows their story.

Some people repair old radios, some do clay work by hand, some make things out of bamboo, some people sit in small villages and sing amazing songs — but they are unknown. I want the stories of those people to come to the world through steemit.

Why is this challenge exceptional?

Currently, most content can be written based on online information. But to participate in this challenge, users need to talk to real people, get to know their stories, and share their own experiences.

This will be a challenge where:

• Real experience is the most important

• AI generated generic writing will be less

• Human stories will be important

• Local culture and heritage will be preserved

• New types of meaningful content will be created

My 6-week plan

Week 01: Forgotten Local Jobs

This week, participants will share stories of people in an old profession in their area that is now slowly disappearing.

Example:

• Shoemaker

• Typewriter repairer

• Old bookbinder

• Radio mechanic

Week 02 : Elderly People With Untold Stories

This week, you have to share the life story of an elderly person whose experience is extraordinary but no one knows about it.

Week 03 : Handmade Art & Traditional Skills

This week, you have to post about people involved in handmade arts or traditional work.

Example:

• Claywork

• Nakshikantha

• Bamboo work

• Wooden handicrafts

Week 04 : Hidden Talents Around Us

You have to post about people in your area who have extraordinary talents but are not known.

Week 05 : Disappearing Local Culture

This week, you have to write about local culture, games, songs, food or traditions that are slowly disappearing.

Week 06 : The Human Behind The Story

In the last week, participants will share the story of the struggle of a person who did not give up even during difficult times in life.

Challenge Rules

• Posts must be Steemexclusive, and fast tag, #forgottenvoices, #country, #creativitywriting Share post planet community

• Each post must have a photo taken by you or Source photo

• Must be based on real experiences

• Must be at least 350 words

• AI generated writing will not be accepted

• Plagiarism is strictly prohibited

• Beautiful storytelling and presentation will be important

Why do I want to do this Challenge?

Because I think the world is slowly forgetting the real stories of people. We see thousands of pictures every day, but we rarely see the stories of the struggle or talent of a common person's life.

I want Steemit to become a place where the voices of lost people can be heard again through this Challenge.

Maybe through this Challenge, an old craftsman will feel for the first time “My work is still valuable to people.”

That will be the biggest success for me.
