How Do I Use AI in My Personal Life and in My Work?

To be honest, AI is not something in my life that I plan to use separately every day. Rather, when I face a situation while working, where a little help would make the task easier, I take the help of AI. Sometimes to create images, sometimes to understand a problem, and sometimes just to get good advice.

To me, AI is basically like an assistant. I don't let it do everything for me, but rather use it where I feel its help is needed in my work.

I sometimes write articles on various topics for this platform. When I need to create images for those articles, I use Google Gemini. Because it is much better to see the post if there is a beautiful and thematic image with an article. But it is not always possible to find an image that I like on the internet. Then I explain my idea to Gemini and create the image accordingly.

AI is also very useful for me in the case of thumbnails. Especially when I create a video, I need an attractive thumbnail. Generally, to create a good thumbnail, you have to use different editing software or editors. Finding images, changing the background, adding different elements and arranging everything properly—all these take a lot of time.

Using AI, I can first create an image that is close to my idea. Then, if necessary, I change it further as per my own needs. This saves me a lot of time and at the same time, new creative ideas come to mind.

However, I don't use AI only for images or thumbnails. Even if I don't understand something, I take help from AI. Suppose, I have a problem and don't know where to start. Then I tell the AI the problem in detail and want to know the possible solutions.

Again, before doing any work, many times the question comes to my mind—how would it be if I did this? Should I do this? Or would it be better to do it in some other way? Even then, I take small suggestions from AI. However, I don't think that the advice that AI gives will always be correct. Rather, I try to understand the advice and make a decision based on my own situation.

I recently had an experience of my own, where AI helped me quite well.

About 5-6 days ago, I bought a laptop. After buying the laptop, I had no idea about the operating system I was using. Although, a talented and experienced @steemchiller of our platform, who is a developer of this platform, set up my entire laptop beautifully. I am really grateful for his help.

But even after the laptop was set up, there were many settings and options inside the operating system, which were completely new to me. I was having a hard time understanding what each setting did, what would happen if I changed it, how to use a feature.

There too, I took the help of AI. When I did not understand a setting, I told the AI its name or the problem. It tried to explain it to me step by step. Not all the answers solved my problem immediately, but AI helped me a lot to understand many things and try to work with my own hands.

The best part of AI for me is that I am not ashamed to ask questions even if I don't know anything. Because AI can be asked the same question again and again. If I don't understand the first time, I can ask it to be explained in simple terms, give examples, and even explain it like a completely new user.

However, I always remember one thing—AI is my assistant, not the one who makes my decisions. I think it is necessary to verify the information provided by AI on any important matter. Because no matter how advanced AI is, there is no possibility of making mistakes.

Finally, if I have to ask where I use AI, my answer would be—I use AI wherever it saves my time, wherever I don't understand something, or wherever I need a new idea.

From creating images to thumbnail ideas, understanding technical problems, learning new things, and getting small suggestions—AI has made my daily work a lot easier in these areas.

I think it is best to use AI in combination with your own thoughts and experiences rather than relying entirely on AI. Because ultimately AI can show me the way, but how I choose to walk that path is my own decision.
