My Life Outside the Internet

My name is @Maryam86 I am from Pakistan. How are you all? I hope you are all well. I am also fine thank God. by the grace and mercy of Allah. Dear friends. Today I am going to share a post with you guys on a very special topic how is my world without internet? How can I live my life without a mobile phone?

Suppose I don't have a mobile phone I will pray I will give time to my family I will talk to my old friends. I will do all the things that my mother does .Because of the presence of the phone I could neither pray nor give time to my friends nor can I give time to my family I also pray regularly and do house work regularly My life can change a lot due to the absence of the internet. If the internet is not there then the internet has had a great impact on me. In my life the internet is a good thing to use in daily life but if it is not there life still passes beautiful i fell
completely at peace with my loved ones without the internet because there is no tension in my mind. If I don't have a mobile phone for a week I will feel completely at peace.

1:📱What will I do when my phone is distracting me?

I will put my phone on Do Not Disturb and put it away for 1 hour then open the window and look at the weather outside. or just sit on the roof for 10 minutes and breathe. Without my phone. the world seems so quiet and clear. I will try to deeply let go of the sky air feeling lost in the world of mobile phones looking at the sky. feeling the wind

2:📱Does the online world bring me comfort?

Yes very much Everything in the online world is fast. But in the real world sipping tea on paper or talking to someone looking them in the eye — there is a deep peace in that that scrolling doesn t give.

3:📱 What kind of time do I like to spend?

I like time that is “purposeless”For example: Chatting with mom in the kitchen counting stars on the roof in the evening reading 2 pages of an old book .without rushing calling dad for half an hour. just talking about the situation and family time.talking about love with my mom and dad

4 :📱What habits make my real life meaningful?

Be grateful write down 3 things every night that I am grateful for listen listen to people without interrupting. this deepens relationships help even small help Carrying someone's bag giving someone water. This makes my heart lighter

5:📱What simple activity makes me happy every day?

First tea in the morning in perfect silence in pleasant weather making someone laugh without a phone if someone smiles from one of my lines my day is made Failing the weather the smell of rain the warmth of the sun the breeze the phone is a tool not life life is what is happening behind the screen.🤍 What gives you the most peace when you are away from the phone? ?

Childhood without the Internet🥹 That was the golden age. There was a time when the Internet did not exist. There was kindness. There were small children in the house. Like me. I was a child when I was young. I did not know anything about the Internet. Life was slow at that time .but memories were sharp. That childhood was something like this. The playground was at home. As soon as evening came hide and seek. hot pants and ropes started. There was no mobile phone. so I did not know about fatigue. It would get dark. then my mother's voice would come. A TV channel everyone's happiness. Cartoons at 6 pm. There was no remote you had to get up and change the channel. If the light went out, everyone would go to the roof. Counting stars.listening to stories letters and messages. Cousin's wedding card came handwritten. A small note with Eid on Eid. The fun of waiting was different. Now the message reaches in 2 seconds but that anxiety is not.

Bringing a story book from the library Reading novels hidden in the comforter with a flashlight. borrowing notes from friends and writing "thanks" on it and returning them.

🫂Time with father 🫂

When there was no internet.sitting with Baba and listening to his old stories flying kites on the roof bringing toffees from the market. Everything was with today. Times have changed so much that fathers have to go abroad to earn money and children are struggling for jobs. In today's era jobs do not exist and children have studied. In today's era 🥹

🍁What did this childhood teach?🍁

It taught me to enjoy boredom. Because as soon as I got bored. my mind would make up a game of its own. It taught me patience. I had to wait for an answer and taught me relationships. Because there was no screen. there were eyes there was laughter there were hugs. Today everything is online. But that smell of soil those unplanned meetings that peace that was stolen after playing all day.. it did not come back. 🤍 I used to play street games the most in my childhood. Even as a girl.I don't forget my childhood memories when I didn't have a mobile phone in my hand. Having fun with small children and arguing with my parents that I have to go outside to play. I miss those childhood memories a lot even today. I smile a lot remembering the old moments. I used to be so young and now I have grown up so much.

Today I got very emotional looking at my childhood photos in my album which I had seen as a child.How beautiful the world used to be without mobile phones. Even today if I don't have a mobile phone I can borrow a day from my childhood. The world is very beautiful without mobile phones.
