I'm back again, today's contest topic is all aboutThe Things Money Cannot Buy let me start by going with some answers to the questions.
What is the most valuable thing in your life that money cannot buy?
The most valuable thing in my life that money can't buy is two things. First, is the love of my late mum. Right from when I was born up till when my mum died I was the most pampered child. Let me be specific here.
I can still remember throughout my six years in secondary I haven't gone to school with an empty stomach. This was her routine when I entered secondary school (JS1)
She will bath me, prepare tea and bread, sometimes noodles as breakfast and what I'll take to school was akara balls and bread. That wasn't even enough I was given extra money like a thousand naria to my lunch money.
Also each time school was over she will come over from her marketplace with chilled bottle of Vanilla ice cream and warm wrapped moi moi. My mother's love can't be purchase with money
Lastly, is my father's advice. My dad can give you advice for anything in this life.
Can money buy true happiness?
From my own end, money can't buy happiness but it can ease happiness.
Can money buy genuine love and friendship?
No it can't
What memory would you never exchange for money?
No idea
Is family more valuable than wealth?
For me I will say, let me be specific here for example I have a job as an content creator creating content for brands when I'm being paid who will I spend this money with? I will definitely spend it with my family, my siblings and my dad because that was my first foundation of life.
Can money buy respect or trust?
Yes it can
I had a friend who literally had his two million naira from a project that's working for just for one month. Before the job, the guy was very very broke his phone was bad, people in church looked him less, but immediately the guy got the money, see respect, that same who looked him less are now rushing him, currently he's using iphone 13 pro max, people are now putting their trust on him.
What experience taught you that money isn't everything?
My experience was when I was year 2, there was a course my friends didn't want to study because their senior colleague told the man use to collect money for sorting in other for them to pass but meanwhile when the man came to the lecture hall to say he doesn't do that, those my friends weren't in class. During exams they didn't write anything instead they submitted blank sheet and depended on sorting but the time they realized I was too late.
What would you choose if you had to choose between money and something priceless?
Money, like I said earlier money doesn't buy happiness but it ease happiness. Also without anything can happen to you, anyone can say anything to you, without money you are as good as death.
What is something you would never sell, no matter how much money someone offered?
My father's advice and property.
If you became extremely rich, what would still be missing from your life?
My mom 😭😭😭😭😭
