Today, in the 1st week of Steemit Challenge 30, I will be participating in @bdwomen ma'am : SLC30-W1 | “Potato Magic Challenge” : Potato Snack / Potato chop - competition, I hope everyone enjoys it.

Today I learned from the beautiful recipe given by Ma'am how to make chops with potatoes, so I will make it. Ma'am has shown a beautiful way to make it. I have gained a little knowledge from there, and today I will make it.

Create top of the potato chop recipe and share the recipe details and pictures.

Potato is a non-vegetarian food, and it is always available in our country at a low price. Today I will make potato chops; it is now made in different places in our country, and it is made more during the month of Ramadan.

Below, I am giving the ingredients.

  • 2 large potatoes

  • 4 dry chillies

  • Salt to taste

  • Coriander leaves, as much as you like

  • Gram flour 2 tablespoons

  • Baking soda 1 teaspoon

  • Mustard oil 1 tablespoon

  • Soybean oil as much as you like

  • Water as much as you like

  • Cumin seeds 2 teaspoons

Now I will share the recipe step by step.

I first wash 2 potatoes in a bowl and then put them on a stove to boil; I boiled them on the stove for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes of boiling, I put them in a separate bowl and cut the middle of the potatoes with a knife. Then I peeled the potatoes and put them in a bowl.

I put a bowl on the stove and roasted the dried chillies there.

After roasting, I crushed them well with my hands so that they became powdery.

Then I put the potatoes in a bowl and crushed them well, in which I mixed all the ingredients like dried chilli powder, cumin powder, salt, and coriander leaves and mixed them well.

After mixing, I flattened and shaped them into balls. And I arrange it.

Then I take gram flour in a bowl and mix it well with salt, baking soda, cumin powder, chilli powder and water. After mixing, it looks like this.

I put it in a pot on the stove and add soybean oil to heat it.

I now put the mixed potatoes in the gram flour mix and spread it all over the top and bottom and leave it in the hot pot.

After putting everything in this way, when the bottom part is done, I turn it over and see that it is done beautifully in all places.

After some time, when it is done, I remove the oil from it and keep it in a separate pot. My recipe is completely done.

Yes, I make potato chops; this is the most prepared dish during Ramadan because we eat more fried rice during Ramadan. Besides potato chops, other fried rice dishes are also prepared during Ramadan, but I like potato chops more. I make it in a different way, but I learned a little from your recipe. Fried rice is a traditional dish in our country, and it is eaten more during Ramadan. Apart from Ramadan, I make it for other occasions because I like it. I make it often, especially in winters. I like it very much with tomato sauce.

Since it is the month of Ramadan, it is a favourite of everyone in our house. Everyone in the house is fasting. Eating it during Iftar is a pleasure. Usually, it is also very good to eat it with muri during Iftar. I made it for the whole family. I added more spice to it because potato chips do not taste good without spice, and everyone in our house likes spicy potato chips. When it was time for Iftar, when we ate it with the family, everyone said it was amazing. It also gave them a lot of satisfaction, and since it was spicy, they happily ate it with tomato sauce. They were very happy to eat my potato chips. Like every time, sharing it with everyone made the Iftar time interesting.

I am happy to make this, because I made the recipe after a long time today. I made it after lunch after finishing office work during Ramadan. I made it completely and wrote my name and date on a piece of paper. Since it is a very delicious dish, I have chopped coriander leaves and scattered them around for beauty; it also looks quite beautiful. It looks so attractive that it will be satisfying to serve it at Iftar. After making it, I also feel very good about myself because I was weak, and I was worried whether I would be able to make it or not. But in the end, I completed it well.
