I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying good health. I am very excited to participate Today I am Going to share my homemade recipe of Potato Paratha one of the most Popular & love dish in Pakistan. I prepare this Recipe using Simple ingredient and easy step.

My Potato Paratha Recipe

Step by Step Preparation

Step 1: Boiling Potatoes

First I selected fresh potatoes washed them thoroughly to remove any dirt and cut them into halves for faster cooking. Then I place them in a pot filled with water and boiled them on medium flame. I cooked them until they became soft and tender which took about 10–15 minute. Properly boiled potatoes Are important because they make the filling smoth and easy to mix.


Step 2: Peeling and Mashing

After boiling I let the potatoes cool slightly so they could be handled easily. Then I peeled off the skin and placed them in a bowl. Using a spoon I mashed them very well until there were no lump left . A smooth tex ture is important because it help in spreading the filing evenly inside the paratha.


Step 3: Adding Ingredients to Filling

Next I finely chopped onions green chilies and fresh coriander leaves. Then I added them into the mashed potatoes along with salt and red chili Powder. These ingredient enhance the taste and give spicy and Aromatic flavor to the filing.


Step 4: Mixing the Filling

After adding all the ingredients I mixed everything thoroughly using my hands to ensure all spices were evenly distributed. Then I added a small amount of oil to make the filing soft and moist This step is very important because well mixe filing improve both taste and texture.


Step 5: Preparing the Dough

In a separate bowl I took wheat flour and added a pinch of salt and some oil. I mixed it well using my hand until the flour absorbed the oil. Then I gradualy added water and kneaded it into a soft and smooth dough. I kneade it for few minutes to makes it elastic which helps in making soft parathas.


Step 6: Stuffing and Rolling the Paratha

Then I took a small portion of dough and rolled it into small circle. I placed a generous amount of potato filling in the center. After that I carefuly seale the edge and gently flattened it. Then I rolled it again slowly to make round paratha without breaking it . This step require a little Care to keep the filing insides.


Step 7: Cooking the Paratha

I heated a pan on medium flame and placed the rolled paratha on it. After a few seconds I flipped it and applied oil on both sides. I cooked it by turning it again & again until it became golden brown and crispy from outside. The smell at this stage was very delicious and tempting.


Final Result

Finally my hot and delicious Potato Parathas were ready. They were soft from inside and crispy from outside with a flavorful spicy filling. I served them with yogurt and tea which made them even more enjoyable.

My Experience

Yes I have made Potato Paratha many times before and it is always a great experience. It is very easy to prepare and does not require expensive ingredients.

I personally love its soft texture and spicy taste. My family also enjoyed it very much and it is one of our favorite breakfast dishes.

Potato Paratha is a simple yet delicious dish that anyone can easily make at home. It is perfect for breakfast or lunch and is loved by everyone.
