A murder, a simple boy, a lawyer and a fight. Primal Fear was released in 1997 under the direction of Gregory Hoblit with the story of who won the last fight to prove it.

Martin Vail (Richard Gere) is a renowned lawyer in Chicago. Martin always wants to be in the headlines. Chicago's high priest was killed in his home. 19-year-old Aaron Stampler (Edward Norton) was arrested while fleeing the scene of the murder.

All information is against Aaron. Martin picks up Aaron's case to stay in the title. He will save Aaron anyway but the case is not as easy as Martin thinks.

Meanwhile, Martin is confronted by his ex-girlfriend Janet Venable (Laura Linney). So is Aaron innocent? Will Martin be able to reveal the truth?

One of the best thrillers I've ever seen. With extraordinary acting. Richard Gere and Edward Norton are both great. But to me Edward Norton will be a little ahead.

The last twist has nothing to do with it. It silences it for a while. But it would have been better to make it a little longer and a little shorter during the movie.
