When it come to the security aspect of any organizations, it is a key aspects that must be taken with high priority because any organisation can go down the pit as a result of one attack.

In the current world that we are now, hackers and criminals are trying all their best to break into organisation system, database, network, physical environment and other aspects of difference organisations which over the years some of their attempts has proven successful while other has failed. It also good to know that the amount of money loose daily as a result of criminal activities is increasing.

In this write-up we will look at some of the problem arising as a result of criminal activities that involves the using of computer in carrying out. This type of criminal activities is also called cybercrime.

What is security breach?

This is any incident that occur which can be an intentional act or unintentional act that give access especially unauthorized access into the organisation network, data, computer, application and infrastructure which cause harm to the organisation.

Problems that arise as a result of security breaches

1. Loss of information: the organisation can loose her vital information which when fall into the wrong hand can cause a lot of problems to people and the organisation
2. Damage of properties: this is another problem that come as a result of security breaches, properties ranges physical properties to system, network, human and other assets of the organisation.
3. Lost of organisation financial health: this is one of the major problem that come as a result of breaches. Organisation finance is lost in the process for example in 2021 April 03, Facebook undergoes data breaches which was estimated to be $3.7 billion. It is not an easy one for Facebook.
4. Lost of organisation reputation: A lot of establishment have lost their reputation as a result of security breach which have affect them in the aspect of lossing a lot of potential investors and the already present investors.
5. Sickness and death: A lot of security breaches have led to the death of staff or owners of organisations. When some organisation's owner loss money and the constant thought of it can affect their health leading to sickness like stroke and the rest.

These are some of the problem that arise as a result of security breaches. Now is important to teach staff the organisation ethics and rules, then also it is also important to always take into practice the security measures against criminal activities whether cybercrime or not in order to keep your organisation save.
