The influence of gender identity on humanity
Gender identity has penetrated very deeply in humanity in recent years, since its multicopy character has helped to deepen everything that concerns gender identity, disrupting individual aspects of human beings, social and cultural aspects that require a strong reason for attention in their study and analysis.
One of the influences that I particularly want to analyze the gender identity is to know what is the way we perceive ourselves?
In the case that is happening nowadays, where many times it is taught that we can be women being men, or men being women, or even that if we believe we are an animal being a man or a woman, it can be normal, we even see how this information reaches our young children through children's cartoons, in particular as a mother, it is something that worries me and at the same time occupies me.
When I say that it occupies me is because I am more and more aware of what my daughter sees on TV or Youtube, because even in what we think is more harmless information comes to her that puts in doubt the child to be clear about his or her own sexual identity.
If we perceive ourselves badly because we do not know what our sexual identity is, we are prone as human beings to lose our capacity to be able to value ourselves correctly as human beings, that is to say, not knowing how to identify ourselves and give us our identity correctly can make us disrespect ourselves.
I know that gender identity goes far beyond the sexual identification that we have, however I believe that identity should start from the identity of sexual gender acceptance, once we are consciously clear of it we must respond according to the accepted characteristics.
In conclusion, gender identity is a fundamental aspect of the human experience that influences our individuality, our social relationships and the culture around us. The struggle for the recognition and equality of gender-diverse people is a crucial challenge to build a more just, inclusive and respectful society with human diversity.
