KWARA STEEM MEET-UP. TAKING STEEMIT TO THE NEXT LEVEL IN NIGERIA. A STEEM-PROMOTION JOURNEY TO NORTHERN NIGERIA BY @BAT-JUNIOR. STARTING WITH ILORIN.

Taking STEEMIT to the other side of the nation isn't easy as thought but it's worth doing. It was quite a long journey down to ilorin Kwara state from ile-ife Osun state to meet with @lamex, @pejugold and other established steemians to hold a MEET-UP in other to discuss how STEEMIT can take its rightful place in the heart of the northerners.

The journey was a little bit hectic and somehow boring, plus my crew and I were delayed by some police at the checkpoint for some reasons unknown but still, the journey was a safe one.

@lamex, @empror, @williams-owb and others welcomed us with open arms and they were fun to be with.

The meetup lasted for about 2 hours and the outcome was glorious. We discussed about the mission I brought to them and we all agreed to start working towards it. The mission was to bring the Northern states of Nigeria to the STEEM map so that the northern part of Nigeria will benefit from STEEMIT and also add values to the STEEM blockchain.
The meetup came to an end after we debated about the location of STEEMIT event and how the event will be held. The date of the event wasn't discussed due to differences in the schedules of everyone, so we decided to leave that for another day.

The meetup was scheduled to hold again after a couple of weeks to finalize every aspect of the event. Enquiries are to be made on things like banners, flyers, handbills and many other necessary things needed for the event. Budget for the event will be announce soon and its up to you and I to show support in whatever way we can.

My crew and I shall return to ile-ife tomorrow and we wish ourselves a safe trip back home.
