Women and men express aromatase and 5-alpha reductase differently. mostly dependant upon their mothers steroidal makeup altered by nutritional stores during pregnancy. As well as their own bodily nutritional stores of minerals like magnesium and omega fats like dha. Because of the differential 5-ar and aromatase expression in those classified as female, they have increased estrogen and delta-6-desaturase an enzyme which makes dha a compound known for making fluid brain phospholipids. Hence why females are generally known as the thinking adaptive type. Males increased 5-alpha reductase shifts testosterone away from estrogen production and into DHT which allows for a more rapid shift in energy production and greater exertions of force and transfer of energy which is partly why men are generally classified as more brutish and quicker to react.
