RE: Unemployed, Pill-Popping, Boozing Wastes of Space

I think unfortunately the more sinister aspect of this is that psychology does full understand what is going on with this, they are very aware that it is society creating these issues but instead of being honest and targeting those who create these problems, they target the victims, although the individual psychologist may want to help the psychiatric profession and structure is a method of control, not of help.

I agree, the mental health industry (keyword: industry) is definitely not geared towards supporting individuals to face/overcome mental health issues. It is, for the most part, consisting of professions that cater only to the elite, or that simply suppress symptoms with drugs and regulated living conditions (mental health institutions). Thanks for the follow and for taking the time to comment :-)

I agree, the scary thing is that much of it generates an actual financial profit for large corporations, it is extremely sinister that these corporate interests make money from other peoples torment and misery, one day I hope people waken up to what is really going on, then we will see change :-)

Feel free to check out my blog posts, I have written several about mental health issues and will continue to do so :-)

More and more people are questioning the way we have allowed the world system to function - change is coming, slowly but surely.

Awesome, I will do so :)

How long do you think change will take and how do you think it will occur?

Thanks for reading my posts :-)

I have absolutely no idea lol. It's entirely up to us, individually and collectively

Do you think change comes from the top down or the bottom up? If from the bottom how can it be organised?

Inevitably it must come from both the top and the bottom, but it is more likely to start at the bottom. As things stand now, most of us are content to accept things the way they are. We tell ourselves "This is how things are, and I can't change it". Therefore in everything we do, that is what we are exuding and accepting from ourselves and from everyone around us. It won't be quick or easy, but it is simple. Each of us must start living, to the best of our abilities and personal circumstances, the principles that we want to see in the world. I don't mean we should quit our jobs and become monks - we need to be able to live our principles in the normal, day-to-day moments of our lives. Organisation - well, there are different ways that may work for different people and areas. Education, however, is a universal key. Education of self (understanding self, and understanding others) and education of how things really work.

Yes these are all good points, perhaps if we all be what it is we want to see in others we shall see that reflected outwards, many people believe we are in essence all projections of each other, so perhaps what happens when we project out positive energy it is then returned towards us in a representation of who we are within others. Interesting thoughts :-)

Feel free to check out my 2 newest posts that I wrote today on the subject of mental health, would be good to get your opinion on them :-)
