I don't mind constructive criticism when it's asked for and if it's expressed as an opinion not fact. I really dislike people "coaching" me though when I've not asked for their advice. 😊

    Yes that can be irritating. The quote, though, refers to when we ask for an opinion and then reject it out of hand.
