Qurator's 2nd Splinterlands tournament just went live!
This time around I wanted to see if the swarm of entries popped up again by charging 20 DEC to join. Surprise Suprise! They did not... Well I need to test charging for tournaments since paying 2000 Dec and giving away Q tokens will slowly chip away at our funds, so if possible I want to see if the tournaments can pay for themselves. Let's see how the entries go.

It costs 2000 DEC to host a tournament plus prizes?
Yeah, it used to be steem but now 2K dec... little pricey if you ask me. Perhaps that is why they are not really seeing other tournaments. Hope charging a bit of DEC will be ok for most players, the Q on its own is already worth a bit so don't want to spend too much just to host.

I missed it by a few minutes so I couldn't play, will make the tournaments a little later. I think it might be better. Thanks for taking part and hope to see you in all the other tournaments =)
Just a suggestion @scrooger maybe if you advertise it as a daily quest tournament and make the rounds first 3 out of 5, so that people maybe able get a tournament battle win. This might attract more players. Just a thought.

Daily would have been nice, but it is a little too expensive to host a tournament each day at 2000DEC for hosting fees.
The 3-5 was considered but that tends to drag the tournaments out too long. Not seeing that many entries though, even at 50DEC entry fee we need to see at least 50 players to cover the costs
