Prime Minister Modi will be on Jammu & Kashmir tour for two days

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go on a two-day tour of Jammu and Kashmir from today. During this time, he will lay the foundation of the two-lane JoZila tunnel project connecting Srinagar to the Leh-Ladakh region. These tunnels will be Asia's longest tunnel. Seven years have been fixed for this. It is being said that the cost of construction of tunnel project will be Rs. 6,809 crores.

The construction of this tunnel will be reduced from 3.5 hours to 15 minutes due to the construction of this tunnel, approximately 17.2 km long. Given the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, strict security has been done in the state. In Srinagar, the capital city and the CRPF have closed all the entry and exit routes of Srinagar and Jammu. Along with this, strict vehicles are being examined.

During a two-day visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to three areas of Jammu and Kashmir. During this time, they will inaugurate various projects.
