BITCOIN - A far fetched theory about the ransomware hijacking, or is it?

Could it be the creation of a financial sector, or competitors linking malicious activities to bitcoin in an effort to sink it... or at least provide argument at the upcoming sec etf review? I would think there are those that dont want see the approval.
If true its convienant this tech was supposedly hacked from the nsa recently...

I could be way off base here, but in a fast changing world, its at least a question worth asking.

Opinion anyone?
