Hopefully everyone will be great here and I am also delightful to be part of engagement challenge organized by @ahsansharif with so professional and practical aspects highlighted. I also tried to participate my views and experience through this challenge. Hopefully it will be meet the requirements of the challenge and considered meaningful participation.


Hi, Greetings to Everyone


~How many hours do you use your mobile, and which application is used the most?~

It's very important question regarding given family time and own health maintenance. As I am using Steemit platform since back 6 year's ago, Steemit is now part of my daily routine of life. I usually spend my randomly time on Steemit by doing work as a content writer , challenging participant or a Curator.

Whenever I got time from my family taking care , I give my time to Steemit for making post's, replying and commenting etc.. It's a fantastic and comfortable freelancing platform especially for housewives to support his family.

You can see that during the day , I have used 3 hours 24 minutes use my cell phone. The most App that is used is Chrome and WhatsApp. I used Chrome App just for Steemit and WhatsApp for family, friends and regarding Steemit fellows are in touched through this. This a an easy way to send and receive mandatory calls and messages.


~ What are the reasons why you use your mobile phone so much?~

These are the priority Apps that are daily in usage. Reasons behind of this already said that these are part of daily routine of life for financial support to my family, develop professional links to Steemians, engage my self in healthy activity and in touched my family and friends through social Apps .

Excessive use of cell phone is not only our own health also kids follow this practice with thier self. For this I use eye-care option whenever I use call phone for working on Steemit. And I make oftentimes post's when my kids go for sleep.

Further more , on Google chrome, I mostly use Steemit , Google maps , dictionary, translation and also use mostly WhatsApp for making calls , messages and videos. That are my daily use Apps.


~ Share three physical activities that take you away from screen time.~

Yes!! Whenever I free from using of the cell phone. I definitely need rest , peace and insightful relaxing. So that I prefer to do healthy physical activities that makes me feel better and happy.

My father used to say my kids are the Tension Free Device It's meant that whenever we feel tiredness and upset then spending time with them feel so much healthy and happy.

Physical activity in productivity & creativity makes mind fresh and develop sense of belonging in relationships

At the meantime, we feel so much reflexed whenever we spend productive time by taking care of garden. That's why I used to give water to plants and inhale fresh oxygen from them feel better and pleasure to spend healthy time here

Outdoor activities are also good option worth family for mentally and physically refreshment. That's why I oftentimes used to go for recreational place for the joy of happiness.

I can't share my own selfie because it is not allowed from my family. As you know we belong to Pakistan and Muslim Family. I always work with dedication and originality


~ What benefits did you see when you reduced your screen time?~

I used before more than 3 hours that makes me feel so much tired and exhausted. I oftentimes feel uncomfortable and unable to politely deal with my family. That's made me so embarrassed and upset.

Yes !! I feel calm , work in like a comfort zone and no stress on eyes and no feel headache. By overcome or reduce our screen time feel better and less fatigue. I can easily manage my work on Steemit and my healthy relationships with my family.


~ What advice would you give to others to avoid excessive screen time and reduce mobile phone use?~

Excessiveness of everything is harmful for health and for sustainability in relationships. So that if we love ourself then definitely we think about our loved ones.

Here are some points to be considered for healthy and happy life by avoiding excessive use of cell phone

  • Reduce screen time by using eye care option on your cell phone

  • Taking healthy diet to save from harmful rays emitting from cell phone

  • Engage yourself in healthy physical activities such as gardening, praying, playing, work as a volunteer for helping deservings etc

  • Spending time realistic things that made you more practical and mature

  • Family is Blessed by Allah they are source of happiness and insightful peace so that spend much time with them

Greetings ma’am. I had a good time going through your post. I must say that your screen time is really enviable as it’s to the barest minimum. I can’t imagine that but seeing that you are a family oriented woman, I see why that minimal is possible. You spend most of your time with your family, taking care of them and also engaging in other outdoor activities. These are great activities that also well our mental, physical well-being and also helps us balance Eeal life activities with our screen time. Great post you have made. Success.

Dar un paso a la verdadera conexión

Porque cuando nos alejamos de estos dispositivos, hacemos click con personas y actividades reales de nuestra cotidianidad que nos dejan momentos de calidad muy valiosos.

Aplaudo que solo dediques tres horas al dispositivo... Muchas veces se dice que es imposible, pero yo digo que cuando uno se lo propone, lo logra.

Ma'am, you have presented your activities of using mobile phones very beautifully. We all use mobile phones more because of writing blogs on the Steemit platform. I also agree with your writing. However, on the days when I write less blogs, my brain is cold, but I get mental unrest due to not posting. Best wishes for your challenge post.
