Oh wait, this reminds me of a funny story.....I'm from California, now living on the East Coast. Not very sushi-esque over here, but they try.....we had a popular roll in Cali that was like a deep fried Philly roll. My fave. So, I asked the local Asian place if they could tempura batter and deep fry a Philly roll for me. I got yelled at....."I no fly sushi for you lady, the lice will pop outta the flyer" You know what, she was right!!! Do not try this at home LOL I burned my eye, pretty bad!!!
