I agree with you as I've tried different variations to maintain a healthy life. But what really worked on me was:
Two tea spoon of honey,
One tea spoon of fresh lemon,
Lukewarm water.
And voila..!! Two months and I lost 8-10 KGs. Also honey improves the skin health so that's an added benefit..
