Recipe of the Day, Week No. 87: (Afang soup with melon and okro)"

Greetings my fellow steemians I believe your day went well, welcome to my blog .

Today I want to share with my friends how my weekend was i made this delicious okro and melon soup for my family

My ingredients were;
Okro
Melon
Afang leaf
Oil
Crayfish
Pepper
Maggi
Canda ( kpomo or ikpa)
GOAT meat
Ice fish
Periwinkle

I first started by seasoning my meat,fish,Canda and periwinkle after that I wash my okro and begin to slice them

While my Steeming meat is still on fire its been steeming for like 30minute now I added my grounded crayfish and oil to the pot and then cook for some minutes and added my okro to the pot

And then cook for a while then I added some water to the pot then allow it to cook for awhile then I added my gridded melon , cook it for a while then finally I added my Afang leaf and brought my soup down.
This soup is a traditional soup you can give this a try,

Health benefit for Afang leaf (okazi);
It’s offer rich nutrients like protein, iron fiber vitamin A and C.

It’s rich in vitamin A and C, as well antioxidants that help reduce the risk of serious health conditions like cancer heart disease, diabetes etc
