Fire Safety Training

Today I attended fire safety training where the representative from the firefighters educated us on preventive measures we can take to stay safe from fire outbreaks that occur in our different houses, shops, and offices. During his presentation, he gave us different instances so that we can learn from the experience.

This training is one of a kind because this is my first time of attended this meaningful program and I most said that I again a lot, I wish that I may apply what I learned in the near future.

He mentioned that this year they have attended 81 cases of fire outbreaks. At the end of the training, he gave us tips we need to follow, which include the following:

• He said that we must switch off our electric appliances whenever there is rain in order to avoid house fires that may come out from electronics appliance due to careless.

• We must not park our cars under trees when there is heavy rain. When we notice that it is cloudy in the sky, we must quickly move our car away to a safe place.

• If our gas cylinder catches fire, we must not panic. We should try to look for a wet towel and cover the wet towel with cylinder in order to avoid explosion.

At the end of the training, they demonstrate the methods we can use to prevent fire outbreak.
