Day 1 of 30: My Self-Consistency Challenge on SteemX

Hello everyone! Welcome to another edition of The Diary Game. It’s really been a little while since I made a post here. Taking on a new job has changed my routine a bit, but I’m grateful because this new schedule is also giving me more time to engage in learning digital skills and developing myself in different areas. Interestingly, I also decided to make some changes to my appearance, including changing my hairstyle. Sometimes, a little change on the outside can give you a fresh feeling on the inside too.

Today, I’ll also be sharing a little about my teaching preparation, particularly preparing lesson notes on Nigerian languages and the areas where they are predominantly spoken. So, without taking too much time, let’s go through my diary session for today and see how everything unfolded. Welcome to my diary.

My New Look After Change of Hairstyle

One thing about life is that sometimes, a new season comes with a new version of you. Since starting my new job, I’ve found myself adjusting to a different routine, learning new things, and making plans to grow in areas I’ve always wanted to explore. So, I decided to make one of those little changes that can make you feel refreshed I changed my hairstyle, It may seem like a simple change, but for me, it represents more than just a new look; it feels like I’m embracing this new season with an open mind and a willingness to learn as instructed, grow, and become better.

Another part of my day was spent preparing my lesson plan and getting myself ready for my teaching responsibilities. Teaching has become something I’m taking more seriously now, and with every lesson I prepare, I’m learning to become better at explaining ideas and connecting with my students. At the same time, I’m still trying to find my way along a career path that could eventually lead me into lecturing. I may not have everything figured out yet, but I’m taking things one step at a time, gaining experience and allowing each opportunity to guide me toward the bigger picture.

Before I started this job, I used to think the stress would be quite overwhelming. But after spending a few weeks here, my perspective is gradually changing. I’m beginning to understand the routine, adapt to the responsibilities, and realise that things become easier with time and experience. As a new staff member, I’ve also been learning from lesson plans and materials already prepared by my colleagues. It has been a helpful learning process, as I’m not only doing the work but also gaining valuable experience from those who have been here before me.

Today, I was so tired that one of my serious students had to help me copy the lesson note on the board. It was actually a funny but thoughtful moment, and I really appreciated the student for stepping in to help. Sometimes, even as a teacher, you need a little assistance too.

Coming back from an easy day at school today, I got home to see this wonder on my table. My nephew, who has already gotten used to the pencils I asked him to use for practising how to write, decided to use them for a new design on my table instead it was so funny. I just laughed and said, l’m the cause of this because why did I carry the pencils home in the first place, new work new experience at home.

Anyway, this is how the first day of my self-consistency challenge with The Diary Game went. It was filled with fun, new experiences, learning, and a few unexpected moments along the way. I’m grateful for the day, and I’m looking forward to showing up again tomorrow. One day at a time, one diary at a time.
