The Diary Game: From Cloudy Morning To Flooding Day ||16/03/2026||

Everyday grind just to make sure we have something to put on the table at the end of the day. I left to work early today because of how cloudy the sky was. I was trying to make sure I beat the the rain and get to work before it started raining. Lucky me, I got to work and it didn't rain.

When I took out the generator from the top, it began to drizzle, and with how dark the cloud was, I knew it was going to rain brimstone. I was scared of two things; my solar inverter not charging and flood in the street where my shop is because there is no proper drainage system, so anytime it rains, the whole place is always covered up with water and this will hinder customers from coming to the shop.

Just as I predicted, it began to rain, it rained heavily that I was even scared the flood was going to get into my shop. I started by trying to cover the frontage of the shop with planks so that the water will hit and pass. But I was so lucky the flood didn't get to that level. I was pitying students that were coming back from school, they met the flood and they had to try to maneuver their way in the flood.

Throughout that heavy rainfall, customers didn't come, I didn't also turn on the gaming systems so that thunder or lightening won't spoil it for me because there was no thunder arrestor, no earthing was done in the building so any thunder will get directly to the equipments and I didn't want to risk that.

I went outside and sat and though, I was enjoying the rain but the ugly side was that there was no customer to patronize us. When the rain began to began to subside, I was glad because the few hours I will be staying in the shop, customers will be coming to the place to play games.

Today, I had about 6 people that came to the shop to play games after the heavy rain, that wasn't bad for the day rain almost fell for the entire day. I had to close and go back early so that I will see taxi and get back home because these days, if we have rainfall, there is always probability that you will rarely see bus to pay back home especially when it gets late.

When I got to the house, my sister prepared rice and she gave me some to eat. The food she put was too much, I ate and remained some Incase I would need to eat again at night.

I will just need to shower now because I am stressed and would love to have a very sound rest for today. Okay, so I am going to bed right now and I will try and upload my post before doing so.
