A Walk amidst Flower Trails
Right in the heart of Canberra city, where autumn's golden whispers touch the air softly, Floriade, the annual flower show opens up like a living carpet made from one million bulbs. It happens in Commonwealth Park every year for six weeks starting every September!
Floriade Festival Canberra 2025 turned this park into a super vibrant flower paradise, starting from September for full six weeks of autumn magic.
It happens every yea and I have been watching it since 2018 when I shifted from Sydney to Canberra.
When millions of tulips and daffodils shine in gold, red, yellow, white and sapphire colors, and if the theme of the year was "Blossom Odyssey" it made it even more wow!
I was totally awestruck passing through lily ponds, fountains, sonic gardens, tasting global cuisines, seeing artisan markets, and cultural dances, left me completely speechless.
Even grown-ups were acting like kids, so delighted watching tulips blooming. You must see lovers wandering through these colorful trails! This festival makes Canberra such a great place, and Canberrans its proud citizens.
Theme "Blossom Odyssey" fits perfect. I suggest see those Filipino duo dancing like petals flying in wind, matching every step!
It feels like calling all city people to wake up and come, paths full of tulips lined up in strange flames. Flowers in golden, yellow, red, white choirs, surrounded by tall eucalyptus trees make you forget the time .
Every September from early dawn through six weeks this festival bursts into colorful atmosphere, like floral paintings in vibrant fiery reds, challenging the sun itself!
People keep roaming on countless trails, folks from different countries equally beautiful, trying to multiply light in these temporary artificial gardens.
As if that was not enough, the fading day and then look at these dream lilies floating in ponds like colored fish, scattered flowers or reflection from sky.
See how fountains jump in rhythmic style! I guess people like me, who know nothing about poetry, just want to write poetry, but express our feelings in simple language.
