Today I had the opportunity to attend the Kemilau Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) activity held in Gampong Blang. Posyandu is a public health program that plays a crucial role in providing basic healthcare, particularly for pregnant women, toddlers, and children. Posyandu is a very helpful tool for communities to regularly monitor their families' health.

Since early morning, Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) cadres have been present to prepare various activities. The community also enthusiastically brought their children for health checkups and monitoring. A friendly atmosphere was evident between the cadres and the residents in attendance, creating a comfortable environment for all participants.

During this sparkling Posyandu activity, various health services were provided to the community. Toddlers received weight checks, height measurements, and growth and development monitoring. Furthermore, mothers received education on the importance of maintaining child health, nutritious diets, and preventing various diseases that can affect children.

The role of Posyandu cadres is crucial, with their patience and enthusiasm. They assist with data collection, examinations, and provide necessary information to the community. The dedication of the cadres is a key factor in ensuring the Posyandu service runs smoothly and provides tangible benefits to the community.
