Enjoying lunch with my little family is always a special moment, even if the dishes on the table are very simple. This afternoon, we sat together in the hut, with simple vegetable side dishes, no fancy dishes or special menus. Yet, it is precisely from this simplicity that a deliciousness emerges that is difficult to express in words.
The warmth of family and togetherness makes every mouthful feel more meaningful. On the table were warm white rice, simple vegetables cooked with love, and the usual side dishes we enjoy every day. Nothing was overdone, but everything tasted just right. My wife patiently prepared the meal, while I helped as much as I could and occasionally entertained our little daughter, whose antics always added to the lively atmosphere of lunch.
