Delicious Puli Pitha

Yesterday evening, Puli Pitha was made at our house. Actually, sometimes I really like to eat pitha and since the girls were making promises, why else was I making the police? So my mother-in-law helped me. So I took some pictures at that time. So I thought I would share the Puli Pitha recipe with you. I hope you like it.

So here I took a few ingredients to make Puli Pitha. Such as: grated coconut, rice powder, sugar, salt and enough water etc.

Method of making pitha:

First, I put enough water in a pan. I added a little salt in it and brought the water to a boil. Then I stirred the rice powder inside it and took it off the stove. Then while it was still hot and I kneaded it well with my hands and made a big ball.

Now I put the pan back on the stove and put the coconut flakes inside. This time I added a little salt and some sugar inside. Now I stirred it for a while and when it turned light reddish in color, I took it off the stove.

Now I cut small balls from the dough ball that I had made and made them round with my hands and Now I made them like bread with my hands. Now I put the coconut flakes inside it and made the face well. In this way, I made all the pithas.

So then I put water in the rice cooker pot. Then I arranged the pithas well inside the lid of the rice cooker with holes on top. Then I placed the pitha pot over the boiling hot water. I will leave it like this for a while until the pitha is cooked well. So when the pitha is cooked well, I take it off. Then when it cools down, I will take the pithas off one by one.

When Puli pitha is made like this, it tastes very delicious. You will definitely understand how tempting it looks when you see it. And since no oil is used here, it is very healthy. You should definitely try making Puli Pitha like this, it tastes amazing.
