Happy new week dear friends. May this week favour us and bless our endeavours in Jesus Christ's name AMEN21X.

While Christians worship on Sundays Muslims fellowship on Friday and other religions may have their sacred days. For Christians, Sunday seems like a holiday apart from going to church for worship, visitations, and events are possible. My Sunday was loaded with church engagements and honoring invitations.

I woke up and we had prayers with my family before I went to church at about 8:05 am. We are studying Purpose-Driven Life for this Lent season, meaning until the Passion Week, which makes it 40 days from Ash Wednesday.

The Purpose Driven Life written by Rick Warren has 40 powerful chapters to boost faith and spiritually sharpen a man's purposes.

After the class, the service of encounter commenced at exactly 9 am which was spirit-filled, full of moral and transformative messages. One of the elders in the church preached a powerful sermon centered on “Sufficient Grace” taking his Old Testament lesson from Genesis 6:5-8 and 2Corinthians 12:1-16. Both projects grace from the love of Christ. In Genesis 6:8 Noah found grace even when God was about to wipe off everything from the surface of the earth while in the New Testament read in church God told Paul My grace is sufficient even in your weakness.

Morning Service

The preacher, applying to the congregants, encouraged us to believe in God and have faith no matter the condition of life, His grace will see us through. The message was followed by a powerful prayer session, leaving worshippers to cry to God for help depending on their areas of need. The service was dismissed at 11 am after the church service formalities were followed accordingly.

I am the Assistant Secretary of the Christian Council of Nigeria Youth Wing of Akwa Ibom State Chapter. We had an invitation from one of our exco members and another from a member. I moved from the church at Nwaniba Road to 37 Udotung Ubo Street Uyo to meet with the youth chairman and vice. The three of us went to The Salvation Army Church, in Abak Local Government to witness the installation of the Divisional Commander of the Northwest Territory of the Salvation Army. It was a good time there having personalities to grace the occasion. The brass band was giving us good music even though the service was dragged out during fundraising.

We didn't bother about entertainment there with the next invitation being one of our exco members taking his child to church, we zoomed to Etinan Local Government Area. Unfortunately, the service was over only to meet with the celebrant, giving him moral support and solidarity. We were entertained magnanimously and we left The Methodist Church of Nigeria Ikot Ekang at about 4 pm.

I got home very tired, suspending the prayer meeting I had at the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria Afaha Ube. I noticed that my body was weak, stress and sun dealt with me throughout the movements and I decided to advise myself. My wife gave me food and I rested.

About 8 pm, mosquitoes were disturbing me because there was no power supply. I quickly stepped out to buy insecticide and after flitting the room, we decided to have a view of the Nwaniba Road. Uyo is lit up, everywhere is beautiful leaving the roads and streets busy with strong security systems.

1. Create time to make others happy as much as it depends on you.
2. Always pay attention to your health when necessary and reschedule schedules for anotjer time.
