The Diary Game: Another Story To Tell Of My Day As A Mother And Wife (21-02-2026)

@heluxe friends. Morning routine started and just like every other time, I was on bed this morning being Saturday, my husband went to work very early, so I was at home with my daughter. You know, they don't go to school on weekends and even though I know she was going to give me headache but I had someone to keep me company.

Since I didn't wake up early, my daughter came to the room and woke me up, she told me she was hungry and I had to pray a little and stood up from the bed then I went to the kitchen to fix us breakfast. I made jollof rice and porridge beans and gave to my daughter her own share, she ate with her little plate while I ate with the normal plate. When we finished washing, I asked her to go and wash all the plates.

When I finished eating the food, I was very heavy to stand up but I forced myself up before laziness would set in. When I stood up, the first spot I went was where I do work. I cleaned up the place, burnt the excessive pieces of clothes and then I bathed.

When I finished with other things, I went to the machine and sat there then I began to work. The first clothe I did was for myself because I would need to wear something nice and decent to church on Sunday. Later that day, I was so happy I was done with the clothes so I took a customer's cloth to sew, she was to pick the cloth next week but then, since I was already on my machine, I decided to sew it at once.

I was sewing when I fell asleep, I think it was like I felt a strong hit on my back, I had to stand up and go to bed before I fall off the stool I was sitting on to sew. I slept and by 4pm in the evening, I came back again to where I was going to finish the clothes.

For some time, I have been wanting to do everything all by myself but little do I know that it's going to really be affecting me this bad. I will be taking enough rest from now so that I won't come and regret later.

Today, my husband came back early from work. He brought us suya to eat and so I fried plantain and made sauce for us to eat for dinner. That's my husband's kind of favourite food.

After we finished the food, I made sure my daughter bathed and I went in silently to clean up the room and then laid the bed for my husband to sleep, for me, I am staying in the guest room till I am done posting on steemit.
