3rd Pregnancy Birth Blog

Good day!

I am now in my 39 weeks in being pregnant. In this picture, I am 6cm cervix dilated. We went to the birthing clinic at January 12 with my husband. We packed up our things and arrived in the morning. The midwife examined my cervix and it was 6cm already so we didn't go home and stayed in the labor room.

The progress is slow. While I was in the labor room, I do some exercises using the birthing ball. We took our lunch and was examined again at 2pm. The cervix was improved and it became 8cm dilated. I w as happy because I was thinking positive that time. I continued my exercise and has little pain.

I was a bit worried but excited. I ate my dinner early at 4pm to prepare the delivery of my baby. I want my body to prepare. But when I was examined at 7pm, still it was 8cm. The progress is slower. At 9:30 I am 9cm already. A little bit pain is entering but still manageable.

The midwife is frustrated thinking that my labor was getting slow progress. She put evening primerose oil inserted in my vagina so the cervix will get ripen. I was pressured. I did squatting. At 11pm, I was 10cm dilated already. I started pushing. I did my best. The midwife did her best but the baby didn't go low down. I was tired until it was 2am. I was weak and furious. Still, the baby didn't come out until 3am I decided to request for an OB-Gyne. She came directly and rescued me. She went inside the delivery room and the baby is out at 3:09am. I was relieved.

The baby is big weighs 3.5-kilogram. She cried and have her first treatment. The doctor stitched my vagina and cleaned inside the uterus. The grandparents were happy. I was in the delivery room for almost an hour after my delivery for recovery. The baby was crying and wants to drink milk so we transferred to the ward so we can rest and nursed the baby. From then, I don't have enough rest.

She is my 3rd daughter, Davina. She was born on January 13,2026. I am excited to see her day by day and watch her grow. This has been my diary game, I hope you enjoy reading.
