My Sister Went to an OB-Gyne to Check Her PCOS

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is an illness inside the ovary of a woman. It is a cyst form inside the ovary. Some women experiencing this illness became overweight. But when medicated, it will not harm your body.

On this day, August 22, I accompanied my sister to check her PCOS because she felt unusual to her body. She has a fever and weak body. Her stool has a blood, sometimes. Her side of the belly sometimes get ache. She is afraid to go on a check-up but I encouraged her. After my work, I went to mother's house to fetch my daughter before the clinic will close.

Moms and Kids Clinic has been my trusted clinic in checking my ovary. Dr. Pua is also a good doctor because she is calm and knows better to her patients. We arrived at almost 3pm and luckily we still make on the list for the afternoon session before their cut-off time. While waiting outside, we filled out personal information of my sister then wait for our turn to be called.

Not more than 30 minutes, it's my sister's turn to went inside OB-Gyne room. They have a short conversation with the doctor first then she had the transvaginal scan to check her ovary. The last TVS we had last January was she has PCOS on the right ovary. But today, when the doctor scan her ovary, all the cyst were gone. She has healthy ovaries at this moment. She has a food supplement for her PCOS and it is effective. She was very happy. The doctor clarified us that the blood in her stool is from the food she take. She is a coffee lover, and the doctor limits her coffee intake. She was advised to do exercises.

The doctor prescribed her a probiotic capsule once a day. Then we went out from the OB-GYNE 's room. We waited for our bill so we can go home. The staff called us for the payment:

• 800(100 STEEM) for the tvs
• 500 ( 80 STEEM) for the doctor's fee

We went out from the clinic happy. Because my sister is happy, she bought a cap and a small bag in the nearest mall. She thought and overthink that she has an ovarian cysts because of what she reads in the google.
