Do unbelievers also wake up at night?

Are you okay? Have you ever sat alone late at night and wondered—does the person who left you crying, ever wake up at night like you? Does the person who broke your trust, in the silence of the night, ever feel heavy in his chest? Or do unbelievers really have no regrets in their hearts?

Unbelief is a very strange feeling. The pain here is not just of losing a person, but of losing the countless memories, beliefs, and dreams associated with him. In the busyness of the day, you may convince yourself—everything is fine. But as night falls, the silence around you brings old words to the fore again.

Then you think, “Does he even think about me?” Maybe he does, maybe he doesn’t. Maybe his life is going on normally. Or maybe he too succumbs to old memories on some lonely night. But we never know.

In fact, the most painful aspect of love is that the answer to the question of whether the person we cry for cries for us or not remains unknown. And that unknown makes the pain deeper.

However, one thing needs to be remembered—your own value does not decrease because someone has been unfaithful. A person who truly knows how to love does not become small even if he loses. Rather, the loss is his own.

Maybe one night the unfaithful person will also be alone. Maybe then he will understand how big a mistake it was to lose a real person. But life should not be stopped waiting for that.

Some people come into our lives not to give love, but to teach us—who to trust and who to let go. So no matter how long the night is, dawn will come one day.
