February, the month of love

in RECREATIVE STEEM2 days ago

How are you all? I hope you are all well by the grace of God. I am also very well, Alhamdulillah. Thanks to working on Steemit, I have shared so many things with you every day. I came to talk about a very wonderful topic. I thank the admin and moderators of this community for organizing such a beautiful contest. When the topic is "love", I could not resist the temptation to share some random thoughts from my mind.

Why do we need to love?

To put it very simply, just as we need breath to survive, we need love to stay mentally healthy. Imagine you return home after working all day, but there is no one to take care of you—how would you feel? You would feel very lonely, right?

Humans cannot live alone. We need someone to share our happiness and sorrow. This attraction, affection, or trust for each other—this is what makes life beautiful. Love gives us peace of mind, and at the end of the day, we all seek a little peace.

Can a person live without love?

Physically? Yes, they can. But is that really called "living"?

I don't think so. Life without love is like a dish without salt. It looks good, but it has no taste.

When a person does not receive love from anyone, he gradually withdraws into himself. His world becomes black and white. The love of parents, the quarrels of siblings, or the rule of loved ones—without these, life is nothing but a mechanical clockwork. So, in my opinion, without love, one can only breathe, but one cannot live with vitality.

How long does love last?

Many people say that love disappears after a few days. I do not agree with this. I think that love changes form, but it does not disappear.

In the beginning, there may be a lot of excitement, and there is an addiction to talking day and night. But after 10-15 years, that addiction wears off and "deep faith" takes its place. I have seen many elderly couples around me. They may not be given or receive flowers every day, but sitting next to each other all night during illness and stroking their heads is called love. So if you take care of it, love lasts a lifetime, even after death.

Love: Heart or Brain?

Scientists say that love is a game of brain hormones. Dopamine, oxytocin—we fall in love because of these chemicals. They may be right from a scientific point of view.

But my question is, when we are very sad, our head doesn't hurt! Why does our chest hurt? Why does our heart feel empty when our loved one is away? So whatever science says, I believe that the feeling of love belongs exclusively to the heart. The brain calculates, and the heart only knows how to feel.

February 14th: Emotion or Business?

To be honest, nowadays, a huge business revolves around this day. The price of flowers increases, restaurants are crowded, and gifts are scattered. Seeing all this, it seems that love has become a showpiece.

However, there is also a flip side to the coin. We are so busy now that we don't even get time to say "I love you" to our loved ones. If this day gives us that opportunity for at least one day, then what is the harm? If a rose or a little time can shake off the dust of a relationship, then I think the day is needed. It is not just business, but also an occasion for emotions.

Although February is the month of love, love should be present in our lives 365 days a year. Everyone, keep your loved ones close. Thank you all for reading the article.

I am inviting three of my friends to this competition:

‎Hola amigo gracias por participar, ciertamente es difícil vivir sin amor, los seres humanos necesitamos amar y ser amados, concuerdo que no es que el amor dure poco sino que día a día va evolucionando o madurando de una u otra forma, cada quien lo adapta a sus necesidades o también porque no a su manera de vivir, lo importante es sentir y apreciar este sentimiento del cual somos muy afortunados de vivir.

Fue un gusto leerte 🤗
