My plans for this holiday

How are you all? Of course, you are well and healthy. I would like to extend my sincere greetings and best wishes to everyone in the ‘✓RECREATIVE STEEM]()’ community in this beautiful competition post today. I hope that wherever you are, you are well by the infinite mercy of the Almighty Creator. Today, through this beautiful competition, I will present my upcoming vacation plans to you. I know that it will not be very popular, but I have tried to share my plans with you.

Many of you know. I have been working as an expatriate worker in Malaysia, a beautiful country in Southeast Asia, for many years. You may know how difficult and busy the life of an expatriate is. I don’t need to tell you that separately. We have to work hard here every day from before sunrise until late at night. Our main goal is to send money home at the end of the month and put a smile on the faces of our families. In this busy life, the word ‘vacation’ is like a golden deer to us. So whenever we get a few days off for Semana Santa or any special occasion, it feels like Eid joy to us. But unfortunately, we can't travel much.

My vacation destination and travel:

I always say that Malaysia is actually a beautiful country and a great place to travel. Malaysia is a very attractive country for tourism. There are many beautiful beaches here, big mountains and modern architecture that will be very popular with any person. My initial plan for this vacation is to visit some of the tourist attractions around Kuala Lumpur. Before this, I had been to several places to lighten my mind, and the feelings of those places were absolutely attractive to me. However, if I get a special vacation in the future, I will try to go to 'Batu Caves' or 'Genting Highlands', which has been my wish for a long time. My favourite place, actually, is where I have never been, en but I have heard a lot about these two places from people around us, which has made me very curious to visit this place. However, to avoid the hassle of travelling, I might spend the afternoon with friends at a park near our workplace. The clear sky of Malaysia and the light afternoon breeze make us forget all the fatigue of our expatriate life in an instant. During this time, I will try to take some good quality pictures which I can share with you later on the Steemit platform.

Special arrangements for food and drinks:

In expatriate life, we usually cook our own food. But we do not get that homely taste in everyday cooking. So on holidays, we all organise special meals together in the room. This holiday, our plan is to cook some Bangladeshi traditional food together. We have decided to cook 'beef stewed khichdi' or 'kachchi biryani'. The taste of home-cooked food in an expatriate country reminds us of our country again and again. During this cooking time, we all talk a lot, laugh and joke together, which makes our boring life a little more enjoyable.

Emotional connection with family:

As you know, vacation means being close to my family for me, even though I am thousands of miles away. I have reserved a large part of this vacation for my parents and family members. There is not much time to talk after working all day, so I have planned to talk on video calls for a long time during the vacation. When I see my loved ones on the phone screen, I feel like all my hard work is worth it. Talking with them, sharing laughter and getting the news of the country—this is the biggest achievement of my vacation.

Mental rest and creativity:

We often lose our creativity due to the pressure of work. During this vacation, I want to give myself some time. I have decided that I will get up early in the morning and take a walk for a few days, and feel the softness of nature. Apart from that, I will try to be more active in the Steemit community. During this time, I will think about some new things and try to post something beautiful. Rest is necessary not only for the body, but also for the mind. So, by getting enough sleep and reading books, I will prepare myself for the next task.

Finally, I would like to say that every day of ours in exile is a struggle. But these small holidays provide us with the resources to survive. I hope that my holiday plans will be completed very nicely in reality. I pray that all of you who are reading this post of mine will have a very good holiday.
