The Diary Game: Watching A Local Football Tournament, Cooking And Working [27/03/2026]

Good day, guys and welcome to another episode of my diary session with yours truly, @megareigns. Today, I want to just briefly share my not so active day and I know it's really going to bless you.

Early this morning, the match between Ballumour Fc Vs Catholic church took place. I love this tournament because it's showcasing young talents to the world and whatever it is, I will keep watching these talented guys playing. So, I went to the field and watch them do their thing. I sat there and was waiting for the players to get into the pitch and do their thing.

There were so many spectators that came around today and it was really an amazing sight to behold. So, I sat comfortably and when the footballers came in, they had a good time with the ball and so did I have a good time watching them play. You know, there must definitely be a winner, right? So Ballumour Fc won by one goal and that was through penalty against the Catholic Church Fc. Though Catholic church won our heart but Ballumour Fc won the game.

When I got back home after the match, sweat had really filled my body, what I did was to get water and visited the bathroom. When I came out, I was a whole new person. I had to rest for couple of minutes before I decided to go on with what I wanted to do.

I was working and half way into it ,I was very hungry so I paused the work to go look for something and eat before ulcer knocks on my door. I went and I warmed the beans with yam that I prepared yesterday and then I ate that for my breakfast, although the breakfast was just like I was eating lunch because it was afternoon already.

After I did that, I took my laptop and began to work again, I was now very much okay and ready to smash the job of the day. So, I went in with so much effort and then before 4pm, I had down the job and was so feeling myself like a King Kong.

When the job was done, I went to bed to sleep, I turned on my fan and then off I went to bed. I had a nice nap and when I woke up, I went to the market to get few things I needed to prepare okra with pumpkin leave soup.

When I came back to the house, I prepared the food and then I began to eat it. I couldn't eat much because I was eating alone. I don't know, but there is something about me- if I eat alone, I will eat so little but if I am eating with someone , I tend to eat very well.

After eating, I cleared the plates and washed them before I decided to bath. I checked my bowls and I didn't have water, I took the rubber to go fetch the water. I fetched water and I went back to go and have a cold evening bath.

After I finished taking my bath, I took some time off to rest before I sent a tutorial to my students, this was just an evening routine I do everyday. After I finished with that, I stood up to come to this main road to stay. The breeze over here is so glorious.

From here, I will be going back home to go and rest and then after that, I will might eat again, I don't know about that for now, take care of yourselves, my friends. Till my next diary, guys, do well to take care of yourselves and stay safe out there. Much love from me to you all.
