“Do you like Christmas or do you consider yourself the Christmas geek in your house?”

I smiled because even though i do not celebrate Christmas in my own home i really like the Christmas season. I enjoy seeing the decorations on the streets the beautiful lights and the joyful faces of people. Christmas has a soft and peaceful feeling. I cannot call myself a Christmas geek but yes i do feel excited when the season arrives. I enjoy watching Christmas movies looking at Christmas trees in malls and listening to soft Christmas songs. So even if i do not celebrate it like others i still enjoy the beauty of the holiday.

“Are you one of those who start decorating the house in November? Is it a tradition? Tell us why you do it. If your answer is no tell us why.” In my home we do not decorated for Christmas because we follow differents traditions likes Eid. But i truly admire peoples who decorate their homes so beautifully during Christmas. I find it very sweet and full of love. In many houses decorating early in November is a sign of excitement. For me even though we do not decorate i still enjoy seeing others do it. When i walk in markets or see pictures online the lights trees and ornaments make me feel the joy of the season. Maybe if i lived in a place where everyone celebrated Christmas i would also decorate my home early. It looks fun creative and full of happiness.

“What are the traditions in your home for this time of year?”

Since we do not celebrated Christmas we do nothing have traditions related to this times of year. But in Pakistan the winter season brings its own small traditions. Families sit together drink warm tea enjoy peanuts and sometimes gather around small heaters to talk and laugh. It is a cozy time. For me December is a month of ending the year thinking about my goals and spending time with family. So even if we don’t have Christmas traditions we have winter traditions filled with peace and comfort. I also enjoy watching others celebrate Christmas on social media which makes me feel connected to global happiness.

“Christmas is magical and we all have a wish for that time of year. Share yours with us!”

Even though i do not celebrate Christmas myself i still have a wish for this beautiful season. My wish is simple but very close to my heart. I wish for peace and happiness in the world i wish for kindness among people especially during tough times. I wish for everyone to feel loved safe and surrounded by good people. Christmas teaches the world about giving sharing and caring and i wish these values stay alive not only in December but the whole year. My personal wish is also to grow more in my life study well and become a cardiologist in the future. I want to help people and make my family proud. Christmas feels like a time of hope so i also make my own wishes for a brighter future.
