The Diary Game [21/02/2026]Attended my friend’s husband’s Funeral.

Hello @everyone accept warm greetings from me to you all on this wonderful platform .Today is Saturday one of the days in my life that saddens my heart. A friend of my mine lost the husband in the hands of cold death. The funeral is taking place today and this makes one to understand the emptyness of life. May the soul of Emma keep resting in peace 🙏🙏.

My friend has been going to pain and a whole a lot since she lost her husband and the mortal remains were kept in the mortuary for more than a month . Reason being that her husband family is base in the USA.There had to do travel to be present for the funeral.

Yesterday was all about wake keep service . Today is the removal of corpse from the regional hospital exactly at 8:00am. I decided not to go to the hospital for the removal of corpse. We had to stay at the family compound prepared for church while waiting to view the corpse .Before its taken to the to church.

We all waiting for the corpse at the family compound seated.Some people travel far distances to attend this my friend husband funeral.They had to make some breakfast for people to take before heading to church .After, a few minutes People who went to the mortuary for the removal of the mortal remains.Arrived at the family compound with the corpse inside and ambulance.

I felt so emotional as people cried and cried .From all indications my friend’s husband was a very good person in the community and people around him. I saw how almost everyone was in tears . The coffin was taken inside the house where people view the corpse saying goodbye .

This is always the hardest moment in life to lost your love ones .In 30minutes they left with the corpse inside straight to Presbyterian church musang .Where the church services funeral will be attend .Before the burial .

My friends and I took a taxi to the church .Eventhough it was far my friends husband family compound .We arrived at the church early and we had to settled down before the funeral service started.We were all shared with my friends husband funeral booklets.To follow the program inside .

In some few minutes the pastors started with the church services funeral.The church was full as everyone left from various regions to attend this burial. After, praise and worship and sharing of the word of God . Some family members had to ready their farewell wishes for their brother and the past memories the moment they shared together on earth.

My friend’s husband and the mother ended their farewell wishes for the husband and son to the mother .I love the way my friend was courageous to speak during this difficult moments .Her last words we should always prepare ourselves anytime for the lord can call us to rest any time.We should be mindful of what we do on earth.

In some few minutes the church funeral service was over and the had to proceed out of the church .Directly to the burial ground from the church for proper burial .My friend and kids had to proceed out of the church with flowers and corpse to the burial ground .

The burial was only restricted only for family members to go to the burial ground .For us who came for our friend were asked to go to the family compound for refreshments.My friend’s husband took 2hours to be done with the husband burial and came back to the family compound There was enough foods ,chawbles and drinks as we were entertained.

We spend some moment with our friend .She was so happy as I sacrificed since yesterday to come and spend some time with her .During, evening period with other friends we had to leave to our various destination .Some were travelling out of town while us within town took a taxi back to our destination.

That how I spend my Saturday attending a friends husband funeral. Please let joined and pray for my friend during this hard difficult moments. The husband died leaving her with two children.May God comfort her and the children during this hard difficult moments.May his soul continue to RIp🙏🙏🙏.
