Diary Game: [06/05/26] Cooked stew without frying it today.

Good day my fellow amazing steemites, Welcome to another episode of my diary game from @zorromusk.
Today I tried something that is against the normal way of cooking stew.
Normally I will heat oil, fry tomato and pepper till everywhere starts smelling of the sauce...lol.
But Today NEPA didn't bring light since morning and my gas almost finish.

In a dry pot pour in your cooked tomato paste , pepper and shombo.
So I said let me make a small experiment.
I blend my tomatoes, pepper, onions, garlic together, pour it straight into the pan with small water, then add my seasoning and dry fishes.
No oil, no frying.
As it was cooking the smell wasn't the usual fried stew aroma, but something different came out -- more fresh, more natural, like the real taste of tomato.
I added small Curry and thyme, throw in sliced onions at the end, and by the time it done, the color was deep red but not thick like normal.
I taste it with small rice and it came out very nice.

I really wish my lovely steemites could have a taste.
The best part is that I didn't get that heavy feeling after eating.
Plus the pan wasn't dirty with oil stains, washing didn't stress me.
The only thing is that if you love that oily taste of fried stew this one can't give you that.
I tried it with fish and it balanced well.
A small experiment turns out to be a success.
Stay Tuned for more vibes from @zorromusk
