HOW TO BE A VICTORIOUS WOMAN IN MARRIAGE. (PART 1)

INTRODUCTION

It is not an overstatement that life is a battle. There are basic challenges of life that people go through that seem very overwhelming. The battles of life do not need any invitation whatsoever. They just come along the way in every man's journey . The battles of life may be physical or spiritual, seen or unseen. Sometimes, the battle that is being fought may be emotional battle especially when you discover that the people you so much love and cherish are the ones at the center of the battle. Whichever is the case, our victory is guaranteed in Jesus name.

There are several women in the bible that engaged in the contest of life, some have great testimonies of victory and others are wounded,maimed or even died in this contest. May God confer the grace of victory upon us in Jesus name. Victory is a language of God. It is designed by God, owned by God and God is an embodiment of victory. God wants the best for his children. He doesn't want his children to go through life defeated and He declares in many places that once we are born again,we automatically qualify to enjoy the victory that God alone gives. In other words, victory is a right and privilege of the kingdom. It is part of the total package of redemption. Every child of God is expected not only to enjoy God's victory but also to live permanently in it . May God give us this reality and ability in Jesus name Amen.

WHAT IS VICTORY ?

1. Being successful after engaging in a contest
2. Having an upper hand over an opponent
3. Sitting on top all unpleasant situations
4. Gaining the ground and putting the opponent under subjecting.

WHO ARE VICTORIOUS WOMEN?
Eph. 3:14; ROM.8:31 ff
Victorious women are women that are not defined by wealth,beauty ,or status. They are not passive and they are not people that hide or run away from battle.They are women who confront battles as they come and fight these battles until they achieved desired victory. Victorious women walk in victory,they declare their victory using their God given authority. They bear good fruit of the spirit despite all odds. They do not compromise in spite of everything they are passing through.

BASIC FACTS ABOUT VICTORY

1. Without battle there can never be a victory. John 16:33;
2. Victory belongs to the Lord Prov. 21:31
3. It is God alone that can give and grant victory! Chro. 18:10; 29:11, 1 Cor 15:57;
4. God is interested in the victory of His children
5. He already promised us victory Deut. 20:4;
6. Battles may be imminent but they are not to break us but to show forth the praises of God in our lives. John 9:1-4;
7. Even when battles come, we are never alone in it. Heb. 13:5
