Daily Pearls #June 20th | 1 Corinthians 2:9

"Neither eyes have seen, nor ears heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man that God hath prepared for them that love him." 1 Corinthians 2:9

What will bring us the first day in eternity? If together we want to analyze this point, we will only have suppositions. But the Bible tells us something very concrete, that is, "... we shall see him as he is." Although we feel the presence of God in this world, even if we experience His help, His goodness and love, we never see Him as He really is. To see Him will be indescribable glory! Do not think that Jesus is as you experienced Him, for He is infinitely more glorious, greater and more exalted. Our greatest struggle in this age is - by faith - to enter into this glorious rest. Let us not forget that the first day of man here on earth was a day of rest. Then came the restlessness of sin, and behold, God created a new rest, and this through Jesus Christ. The first day in eternity will be glorious rest through Jesus Christ for all those who have been saved through the work of Jesus consummated on the cross of Calvary!
