God can not change, this would mean that God has a personality and therefore would be subject to changes that would make an imperfect being. Angels like Luzbel, however, have had a change of mind and personality despite "being perfect" because they are not a creative force as God is. The same goes for us humans. Personally I do not like to see God as something similar to man. Jesus may be the exception. Nevertheless, Ernesto Sábato spoke very well of this in his book "between heroes and tombs".
"1. God does not exist.

  1. God exists and he is a scoundrel.

  2. God exists, but sometimes he sleeps: his nightmares are our existence.

  3. God exists, but he has access to madness: those accesses are our existence.

  4. God is not omnipresent, he can not be everywhere. Sometimes it is absent, in other worlds? In other things?

  5. God is a poor devil, with a problem too complicated for his forces. Fight with matter as an artist with his work. Sometimes, at some point he manages to be Goya, but it is usually a disaster.

  6. God was defeated before History by the Prince of Darkness. And defeated, turned into a presumed devil, he is doubly discredited, since this calamitous universe is attributed to him.
