Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi: investment for electric mobility
Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, while not disclosing the economic information, announced a fresh investment in The Mobility House. In the inclusion of electric vehicle batteries into the energy recovery scheme for electrical infrastructure, there is talk of a particularly active start-up through intelligent charging and storage solutions.
The Mobility House has created a platform based on batteries for electric vehicles to meet the increasing power storage requirements. The system uses controlled and bidirectional charging technologies to power the infrastructure and its principles have already been used at the basis of the Nissan Leaf and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2 G) project.
The Mobility House's objective is to prepare Europe's biggest stationary energy storage system through the batteries of Alliance Ventures ' electric car park, which contains Renault Zoe, among others. Promoting the growth of renewable energies, stabilizing the electricity grid and, consequently, accessibility to electric mobility within the start-up scheme. Established in 2009, the technology business works worldwide from its Munich, Zurich, and Sunnyvale (California) locations, serving clients in over 10 nations. These include leading producers of automobiles, owners of fleets, assembly firms, power distributors and drivers of electric cars.
With the fast electrification of mobility, the issue of electrical energy manufacturing and the supply of electricity to the infrastructure is becoming increasingly crucial. The shift can only be helpful if it helps to decrease expenses and pollution: objectives that can only be accomplished by using energy reuse and storage techniques. The Mobility House offers within the current network for the reuse of electric vehicle batteries, giving them a second life, among its plans.
Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi is one of the most active automotive organizations in the field of electricity: in relation to the aforementioned vehicles, Mitsubishi also produced a significant contribution in this respect to the Mitsubishi I which is remembered as one of the first full-electric urban vehicles.
