Do You Remember Big Mouth Billy Bass? Well, I Flipped That Fish For A $30.00 Profit!
How many of you remember good ole Big Mouth Billy Bass? Back in the late 90's and Early 2000's they were the rage. Everyone had to have this singing fish. Fast forward to today and they end up in a box over in the garage or attack. Maybe you still have one?
Not only do they end up packed away somewhere but sometimes I end up finding people who have dug them out of their boxes and bins to put them out on tables at garage sales, thrift stores, and estate sales. And somehow they end up finding their way into my hands for $1 to $5 typically.
Well, did you know they still have value if they are in working order? This one, in particular, I ended up paying $1.50 at a local sale and flipped the "1999" musical fish that sings 'Take Me To the River' & 'Don't Worry Be Happy' over on eBay for a $30 profit after fees. I actually think the songs, in this case, should have been called 'Take Me To The River BANK' and Don't Worry Be Happy With These Profits'.
So my question is this. Do you have one stored away somewhere collecting dust? If you do, dig it out and start collecting a profit by flipping it online while they are still desirable! And by all means, if you are hitting up sales in your area and see one. Pick it up for a few bucks and cash in or use the profits to buy more Steem.
