Swarm redistribution, a social mechanism for wave propagation by "paying it forward"

in #resilience6 years ago (edited)

The "multi hop" design for Resilience from last year makes it much simpler, since it adds up, is complete (original design from 2012 was complete in concept but not in its mechanics. ) The idea is that the swarm redistribution "pulses" branch out in a way that is identical to a river delta, blood in a vascular system, or electricity in wires, the total "voltage" or "flow" decreases in exact proportion to number of branches, the whole system behaves like a liquid.

While the "pulse" gets increasingly smaller, how often they reach you increases, and does so with the exact same factor. The simple social mechanism of wave propagation by "paying it forward" creates a homogenous global medium that anyone can access similar to how plants access carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, a natural resource that lifts everyone on Earth out of survival mode.

The swarm redistribution wave-propagation in Resilience,

as a metaphor, think of transactions as forming "dividend pathways", links that connect all humans into a web (with Ryan Fugger's Ripple the credit lines do exactly that and act as "dividend pathways" in Resilience. )

Like with electricity, a river delta, water pipelines, or vascular systems in marsupials, the swarm redistribution current continuously splits and divides into separate branches. When taken as a whole, the total amount of current in all the branches when added together is the same as the amount that was extracted as tax.

Great progress you have made over the time
