NALCS Week 2 Predictions

The weekend is almost here and you know what that means. The NALCS is almost upon us. Who cares about the inferior EULCS. It was awesome last week watching best of ones. I got to watch every team play and I didn't feel like I wanted to rip out my eyeballs at the end. I was super excited to see the two teams I was pulling for go 2 - 0 (Team Liquid and 100 Thieves). With that being said this will make for an interesting week 2.

Week 2 Predictions

SATURDAY

Game 1 Clutch Gaming vs Counter Logic Gaming - I don't know why but I want to call these teams new CLG vs old CLG. Even though I'm not a fan of Biofrost and CLG just doesn't feel the same without Aphromoo I still favor them to win. Would love to see Huhi on Aurelion Sol or Stuff at popping off big in this game. CLG 4 THE WIN

Game 2 Team Solo Mid vs Clutch Gaming. I'm completely anti-TSM right now. Optic looks like they have a solid team and seeing their desire to take down a top team last week playing TL I hope they can take down TSM and put them in there place. CLUTCH 4 THE WIN

Game 3 Cloud 9 vs Echo Fox - Once again I think Sven is a feeding trash jungle who doesn't deserve to play in the LCS. I hope Huni catches him out and dunks him cntinuosly for trying to be greedy. ECHO FOX 4 THE WIN.

Game 4 100 Thieves vs Team Liquid - Liquid has been my favorite team since before the season started. Love the experience, history, and confidence these players have in wanting and being the best. Hope Pobelter just crashes all other mids to claim best mid NA. Sorry Aphro and Meteos. TEAM LIQUID 4 THE WIN.

Game 5 Golden Guardians vs Flyquest. I like some players on both teams. I wish a few more players would have stayed with Flyquest. Laughed my butt off both Wild Turtle and Doublelift got to beat their former team last week (TSM). I'll pick Hai in hopes he can help raise up some NA talent this year. GOLDEN GUARDIANS 4 THE WIN.

DAY 2

Game 1 Echo Fox vs TSM - Still hope TSM gets smashed. I think this week will be TSMs key for seeing if they finish in the top 5 or not. ECHO FOX 4 THE WIN.

Game 2 Cloud 9 vs 100 Thieves - I hope we see the old Metros again. I would love to see him just completely dominate the jungle like he used to and make Sven look like complete trash. 100 THIEVES 4 THE WIN.

Game 3 Optic Gaming vs Fly Quest. Pretty meh about this game. Would love to see Wild Turtle win at least one game this week so for that reason . . . FLY QUEST 4 THE WIN.

Rather than drag out the last two games I'm choosing Huhi over Power of Evil so CLG 4 THE WIN.

If you see Team Liquid vs. anyone I'll save you the trouble from here on out and let you know TEAM LIQUID 4 THE WIN and TEAM LIQUID IS LIFE.

Best of 1s

I'm loving best of 1s this year. We get to watch every team play 2 games, and every team gets to play every day (I guess that's a little redundant?) I feel like best of 3s is just too much too watch. It was hard for me to watch all the games before the next weeks starts. I'm really hoping they keep this for future seasons and we get more best of 1s as the league franchise expands.
