Is Ripple about to go north?
I’m sure I’m not the only one who has been monitoring Ripple with interest. I wouldn't say it’s a hold the gold cryptocurrency, but more of a short term flip on the upside.
The chart over the past week has seen in my opinion a steady climb north and far short of its position around a month ago. I can only see this as an opportunity to make a gain. It’s cheap enough to get in and make some returns.
When you think about it, it’s been a really good performer against Bitcoin and Ethereum over the year and when you look at the percentage increase it looks even better.
I agree it is cheap, but somehow i don't think this currency is as volatile as the others. Therefore i think it is the other way around: Long term a good buy, short term there are a few other currencies (in the top 25) that can generate quick returns.
its definitely one to watch with interest.
Thanks for your comment
It definitely makes for a good daily trader, especially people that are just starting out and don't have a ton to invest... but to not consider it for long term holding would be a huge mistake.
I agree and it’s a low point of entry for beginners.
mmm I hope you are right man... I buoght it when it was 0.1... I missed the opportunity to sell it at 0.4... hoping in a big rise... What do you think? What will be its price by the end of December?
By the way... I'm gonna follow you @theblockchain... Follow me if you are interested in knowing what I'll publish... :D
@fboccassi I’ll hit the follow button. I do think if we can just get a small run on ripple we could push past 0.4 by the end of the year, but maybe not much more than that unless we see some further developments with the banks. Without giving advice, if it were me I would sit tight. The end of the year is not the end for Ripple. As I say it’s no hold the gold, but it does have legs and I can see it push beyond 0.4. The other thing to remember is if Bitcoin runs Ripple and other Altcoins will be dragged along for the ride. HODL
More opportunity on Ripple today, but may get even better yet on the approach to the 1st of August. Right now it's being dragged down by Bitcoin, like all altcoins.
