Rospotrebnadzor took pity on lab rats – the vaccine will be tested directly on COVID-19 patients
Rospotrebnadzor has demonstrated a lack of professionalism at the highest level. Yes, it is not a typo – lack of professionalism, and not for the first time. The fact that Russia is the third country in the world in terms of the number of COVID-19 cases is 95% the fault of the federal service's management.

"In its current form, Rospotrebnadzor is a repressive entity that collects money for violating outdated and meaningless requirements that have no analogues anywhere in the world".

That’s why, the management of Rospotrebnadzor can feel how the chair beneath them "wobbles" and they do their best to demonstrate their usefulness. Since the management had previously been sluggish and inefficient, it now went to the other extreme, which was called "shturmovshchina" (rush work) in the Soviet Union. Rospotrebnadzor decided to play "their trumps", and before anyone else in the world, start MASS vaccination against coronavirus in Russia and use drugs that have not been fully tested for the treatment of patients in hospitals.
There is no "magic wand", and nobody canceled the minimum period for testing a vaccine for at least a year on animals and a large number of volunteers. Only in Russia.
By the way, coronavirus is the very case where "experiment on cats" (from Operation Y) is indicated. Cats have receptors on their cell surface — proteins that are close in structure to human ones. A cat's body successfully produces antibodies against coronavirus and this process needs to be studied and used, virologists say.
Neither the Chinese nor European scientists, despite the common concern about the situation, are going to skip this stage, because they know well that: the new drug must be tested for side effects, and then it takes time to remove them and make the vaccine safe.
What cats are you talking about, when seats could be lost at any moment, there is no time to test it even on lab rats! If everything is done properly, the management will definitely retire in a year! And basically, they will not create a vaccine there before next year.
And then we have Gref-the vaccinator that plans to start the production of "his" ready-made vaccine in August. 3 billion rubles was invested in the creation of the drug, as reported at Sberbank. It is not surprising that Mr. Gref is determined to recoup the investment. And since it was stated that "in August", then, the quality of the drug does not matter– they will start selling it in September. To achieve this, even the "dearest" cannot be spared – Sberbank employees, they will be the first "guinea pigs". 281 thousand people – quite a decent statistic for testing a new vaccine.
It was decided to not waste time doing standard experiments on lab rats and cats in order to get around an overly fast competitor. Inasmuch as the state allocated money for the vaccine, and they are being absorbed, this is holy for government officials. But the bet is not made on science, it’s on the nimble merchants like Gref, who really want to make money on someone else's misfortune.
To do this, ready-made medications for flu, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. were quickly "refined" and they started selling them as a coronavirus vaccine. Arbidol became the "first swallow" back in January 2020, but the merchants were let down by stupidity and greed. Instead of quietly "pushing" the drug through the Ministry of Health and the unforgettable "Madam Arbidol" Golikova, they decided to capitalize on the mass hysteria from coronavirus and on the fact that Arbidol is sold in pharmacies without prescription - they launched a massive advertising campaign that the drug indeed cures coronavirus, without obtaining the official certificates of the Ministry of Health. So, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) "got its teeth into them".
The stupid and self-confident were replaced by the more cautious ones. These businessmen first officially registered their drugs with the Ministry of Health "under the fast-track kickback procedure" and remembering the situation with the FAS, they went another way. Now in the Russian market, two products are offered: Japanese Favipiravir, for treating flu; and Russian Levilimab (Ilsira) - for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
Meanwhile, there is no mass advertising - the drugs will not go on sale, but will be used in hospitals "under the supervision of the doctor". As you know, patients in Russian hospitals, especially those who are connected to a ventilator, will not be asked what to be injected with or drink. And no one will read the list of contraindications to them as well.
To understand the type of drugs they are going to "treat" coronavirus patients with, it is enough to know that the study of Favipiravir involved only 340 people who were sick with coronavirus. While in the clinical studies of Levilimab, even less – 204 patients. In order to be sure that all the negative effects of the drug are absent, testing should be done on thousands, often tens of thousands of patients. So Gref's vaccine, after being mass-tested on employees, he will finalize and remove the negative side effects - it will have more rights to exist than these "drugs" that officially have contraindications:
- Favipiravir. The drug can inhibit the the development of children, destroy their immune system, cause the death of the fetus in a pregnant woman, and lead to the development of congenital diseases. The drug also has a sharply negative effect on sperm in men.
- Levilimab. It is not recommended for children under 18 years of age, pregnant women and women during lactation. Adults are not recommended to take the drug in the availability of chronic diseases and bacterial infections, liver and kidney failure.
Meaning the drugs "recommended by the Ministry of Health" and passed through by Rospotrebnadzor are dangerous for the risk groups that most often get sick with coronavirus - children, adults that have problems with internal organs and the elderly.
Favipiravir is already being delivered to hospitals and will be provided free of charge under the statutory health insurance program from June 11. Levilimab’s entry is expected in July-August.

In any case, the history of the fight against COVID-19 will be written by the survivors "under the supervision" of those in power.
Govenment officials in Russia have always been equally indifferent to the dead and the living, the most important thing is to hold on to their position. And our future Pharaoh till 2036, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, "the eagle soars" indifferently over all this "monkey business". His non-interference in the survival of the Russian population and business is so demonstrative that some Russians began to think: "have they removed Mr. President from power?" The naive do not understand that "The sheriff doesn't care about the problems of Indians".
