How to Promote Sabang World Class Yacht Tours

The event of Sabang Marine Festival 2018 finally gave birth to a container named 'Sabang Yacht Club' in the Container Terminal 1 area of ​​Sabang Regional Development Agency (BPKS), Aceh.

The container became a yacht club. BPKS's Commercial and Investment Deputy, Agus Salim, said the yachter club will serve as a forum for interacting with fellow seafarers, and visit each other yacht clubs in the world.

Later will also serve as a meeting place or conference for the yachter, in order to develop the club. Thus, Sabang Yacht Club will have an important role for the yachter that crossed the western tip of Indonesia.

"Sabang Yacht Club will look like a yacht club in neighboring countries like Pangkor (Thailand), Langkawi (Malaysia) named Langkawi Yacht Club,"

According to him, Yacht club has an important role in the development of tourist areas. Especially the area that is often visited by yachter.

"This is a new business unit in BPKS, will become a new container in doing tourism promotion, especially for the world yachter community," said Agus.

Previously, BPKS held Sabang Marine Festival 2018. This international event took place from 26-30 April 2018, to promote Sabang maritime tourism to the eyes of the World, as well as displaying Aceh culture.

Around 30 yachts will lean in Sabang Bay, the yacht tourists will witness some of the activities presented such as marching band parades, dances, visits to schools in the city of Sabang.

The yachter will also visit the historic sites in Banda Aceh and also attended the Laotian Laot event in Sabang.
