COULD IT BE THAT YOUR SMARTPHONE IS LISTENING TO AND RECORDING YOUR CONVERSATION WHILE YOU ARE UNAWARE?

HELLO!

My dear fellow steemians, today I would like us all to discuss about how and why our cell phones could be listening to us while we talk!

You might have sometimes noticed that you saw something on the internet that you were coincidentally talking about at the other time of the day.
While scrolling through my news feed on facebook today, I came across an article about how the apps in our smartphone, under certain circumstances could be recording our conversation and our voice though we aren't on call or even using it.

Did you know that this access to the microphone sometimes allows your Apps to actually listen to you even when you think it's off?

Science has been advancing and with this advancement we all have been introduced to more sophisticated discoveries, for instance, the digital world. Most people in today's context are familiar with INTERNET and how the world wide web has made our world smaller and smarter place to live. There have been amazing inventions like computers, smart television and many gadgets, example, smartphones.
Most of us own a smartphone, and all of us have installed many apps that we use on daily basis. While installing those apps, we are asked for our permission to assess our contacts, gallery,microphone, etc. But did you know that this access to the microphone sometimes allows your Apps to actually listen to you even when you think it's off?

Should you be worried?

This however, is not an eagle's eye. A lot of these apps are doing it not because they have foul intentions, they do it so that their Apps can work in such a way to favor you to an optimum level. That is how they can know about your interests and habits and can send targeted advertises to you.

Honestly, I didn't care to read the terms and conditions while I installed any App. On reading the article, that I previously mentioned, I was indeed surprised and to test it, I uninstalled Messenger. On reinstalling the App, it was crystal clear.

Interesting Right?

You can however block this by setting your privacy on your phone.
