How epigenetics is dissolving lines between divine miracle and disease healing?

Introduction

Before addressing the main subject, I want to talk briefly about the human mind-body system. The human personality is composed of two parts: The conscious, and unconscious mind.
It is similar to an iceberg, only part of which is outside the water and most of it is underwater. The “tip of the iceberg” above the water forms the conscious mind of man and its task is to analyze thoughts, perceptions, feelings, and attitudes. When you learn something, this part is active.

The rest of the iceberg under the water forms the unconscious mind of humans. Indeed the information in this section is not available but can affect human behavior. Almost most of the things done daily are the result of the activity of the unconscious mind.
The unconscious mind has not a choice or analysis power, but it has a high executive power and accepts everything you give to it. If you feed it with good thought, the body will also reply back it with a good result, and vice versa. Thus, man can change his body's fate by good/bad thoughts.

Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become reality.
Earl Nightingale, An American radio speaker and author (1921-1989)

What is the mean of Miracle?

You have probably heard that a someone who had a severe illness has been miraculously healed. This phenomenon, which most people call it "miracle", are not specific to a particular society or religion and are seen everywhere and among all religions. It is generally referred to as divine intervention or supernatural power.
Based on the Encyclopedia of Britannica, the Miracle is characterized by “extraordinary and astonishing happening that is attributed to the presence and action of an ultimate or divine power.”
Spirituality is now recognized as one of the cures for diseases. And a miracle is a manifestation of human spirituality.
People, who are spiritually pure and believe in the power of God, know that anything they ask, the God is eager to respond. So, with induction of positive thoughts, they drive his/her body to a healthy condition.

A man is but the product of his thoughts - what he thinks, he becomes.
Mahatma Gandhi, An Indian leader against British rule (1869-1948)

In other words, everything in your mind will be replied back by the beings in the world. If your thoughts be a good thus it gives rise to good results and vice versa. Consider that you involved with a serious illness if you think that you will overcome it and strengthen this thinking and believe it. Be sure you will be able to overcome your illness and this is the power of our minds that we must strive to strengthen.

The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes.
William James, An American philosopher and psychologist (1842-1910)

In my opinion, the miracle is nothing except changes in the genetic matter of cells, DNA, which can be changed by indoctrination.
According to the “Central Dogma theory”, first presented by Francis Crick in 1954, genetic information flows from DNA to the RNA and from it to the protein. In fact, based on that, man is a protein. According to this theory, the direction of information flow is always from DNA down to the protein and is one-way. But according to Dr. Bruce Lipton research, thoughts can affect the human brain. And as a result, the cells of the body undergo changes through the signal transmitted by the brain. Therefore, by creating good thought, the inversion of the theory is possible.

We now know that the signals sent to the brain through the cells originate from your beliefs. In other words, your belief, the ‘by-product’ of thought and subsequent perceptions have a direct and overwhelmingly significant effect on your cells.
Dr. Bruce Lipton, An American developmental biologist (1944- ...)

Are genes really affected by thoughts?

Scientifically, answer to this question is somewhat challenging. Because there is not a way to measure thought quality, as a result, the science can’t determine the causal or non-causal effect of thoughts.
However, the growing body of evidence suggested that some genes are active during the “Critical period”. They are necessary for the making of legs, teeth or arms at a particular age in childhood. During this time, they may be affected by medications or nutrition. As soon as this period is over, these genes will no longer be affected. But there are genes that may be changed throughout the life of a person, such as those are involved in repairing damage or making hormones and enzymes.
One of the easiest ways to influence the activity of the genes is the “Placebo effect”, in which mere beliefs make some genes On or Off.
The “placebo effect” means that an inert drug can act like a real drug.
In fact, this phenomenon which is called Epigenetics is the mediator between mental implications and cellular new conditions.

What is Epigenetics?

The biological phenomenon in which DNA undergoes biochemical changes and transmitted down to the next generations whilst the DNA sequence did not change.
The most important epigenetic changes include DNA methylation and modification of histone proteins. Epigenetics also include other mechanisms such as Phosphorylation, Ubiquitination, and Sumoylation.

This process is essential for the proper functioning of an organism. In this phenomenon, the activity of genes is changing. For example, in specific tissues, the specific genes are On and the rest are silent. This is because despite having the identical genetic material, the cells find a different fate, some of which differentiate to the bone, some
to the liver, and some to the heart. According to the Dr. Lipton hypothesis, activation or inactivation of genes depends on the environment around the human body and its thoughts.

Epigenetics is the way that the genome talks with the environment
Dr. Rudolf Jaenisch, Professor of Biology at MIT (1942-...)

Our genes are like the instruments in an orchestra
Dr. Jeff Craig, Professor at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute

According to Dr. Craig, the music instrument composition is similar to DNA, and musicians are similar to methyl and acetyl molecules that make the device play in harmony. Genes, like the orchestra, need to be played by a series of molecular changes known as epigenetic changes.

Bruce Lipton, Ph.D. Epigenetics: The science of human empowerment

Conclusion

My purpose to raise this discussion is to remind ourselves that we have to believe in our inner power. Remembering, there is a potent force within us waiting for the release. So, with good and constructive thoughts, we can serve this force to live better.

I'll be happy share your thoughts with me to improve my blog.
Thank you for your support always.

Dear @christinaa
you are right, but I thought it is not problem when I reference it. However, I replaced the second pic. with one another. I used pictures of "Free to reuse".
Thank you for your comment.

no, u cant use copyrighted images even u give reference of it... Thanks for changing it.. :)

don't believe everything you've read on internet, the power of suggestion is real but changing the "genes at will" sounds like hokum.
a miracle is impossible by definition and what we often see as a miraculous recovery is the body healing itself that would happen eventually.
I suggest watching:

Dear @wide
As you mention, Maybe we have nothing in the name of miracles. But in metaphysical science it has been proven that the expression of genes under the influence of the environment can change, and one of the environmental factors is our thoughts that can change their expression.
Thank you for your attention

Interesting article, will still re-read it again when im in ideal place.
